The following Poem I wrote during a time of Worship & deep emotion, after someone had told me I needed to not worship like that & should be more reserved. I’m so thankful I didn’t let the Enemy use this person to prevent me from Praising God & pouring out my Love for Him in creative ways! I know what God has delivered me from & I will never apologize for the way I worship My Lord & Savior! If you’d been through the things I’ve gone through & been delivered of the things I’ve been set free from, you’d Dance & shout in Praise & thanksgiving before God in as undignified a manner as David danced before Him, when the Arch of the Covenant was brought home to Jerusalem! Lord, I pray I never loose my Passion to express how much I love you in all the creative ways you choose to pour out on my life! I hope you enjoy, & may it bless you!

My spirit wants to dance but I hold back.
I need to let go, to be free.
Tears come as my soul longs to be free, to move as you move, to be one with you.
Why must I hold back this yearning within me to let the praise flow through me?
My spirit says be free it says dance, but others say no.
Why can’t they see what you’re Love is doing to me?
Do they not feel the aching in their spirits to be free and worship you as much as I do?
Help me to be free I want to be free, free to express my Love, my passion, my longing for you.
My spirit wants to dance but I hold back.
I need to let go, to be free.
Tears come as my soul long to be free, to move as you move, to be one with you.
Dance with me I hear you whisper to me.
Dance like David
did in my presence, do not be afraid of what others think, say or do.
You are mine and I am yours, be free, be free in spirit my child.
I created you to dance don’t ever forget what I’ve spoken to you, don’t ever forget what I’ve shown you.
My spirit wants to dance, but I hold back.
I need to let go, to be free.

What is this I feel as I begin to move, to express my Love, my passion, my longing for more of you?
As I pour my heart, my soul, my body, my mind into expressing how much I desire to be with you, and everything you are to me in the dance, the freedom breaks.
The dance comes stronger and more passionately now, then ever before, as I am lost in your deep Love.
My spirit wants to dance, no more holding back.
I let go!
I am lost in you, now my soul is free.
Tears turn to joy as I dance with you, move as you move, and my soul becomes one with you.
